This year I learned my railslide attempts were actually unnatural to me. I always tried to do them left foot forward even though the 90 degree rotation was unnatural to me. I learned to slide the up-kinked funbox left foot forward but I'd never really commit to it and slide off just before the end, when I tried it right foot forward I ate shit and didn't try it again.
When I bought a pair of rollerblades I started hitting a small rail in my backyard trying for left foot forward slides until i tried one right foot forward and stuck it. Then I learned 270 out and switchups and then worked the style but not wavering an arm and did some gorilla mockups, haha.
So what I'm getting at, for people who are having trouble sliding rails, try doing it the other way, i might feel odd at first but after a while it's so simple.
And... anyone wanna buy a pair of USD Grycon Rollerblades? size 9.5? I gave up on rollerblading, too many hard falls and we have nowhere to skate.
