What do I do with this HUGE cut in the sidewall of my AR5's?
I fell and fucked up my ski, now I dont know what I should do to fix it. I thought about just cutting it level with like an exacto knife or something, anyone have any info on a better way to fix this might be?
should I jsut cut the part off that is stickign above the top sheet or try and melt it down with like a sotter gun or what, I never had a gash this big before so I dont wanna fuck it up
I would shave the part of the top sheet flat and then get some jb weld and smooth it into the gash. That or epoxy. You should be good... although I am no expert.. it should work and I highly doubt you'd fuck it up.
yeah armada's tend to have pretty weak sidewalls, my ARV's have multiple gashes like that but not as big, i just didnt touch them since its not down to the core or anything i doubt it will damage anything.
i have 3 of those in my tanners from last year, just happens its not gona affect anythign quit slapping your skis together on spins it happens when you land one ski first then the other slams into it while its still rotating.
