i love war movies, my fav are Blackhawk down, Band of brothers(i know its not a movie) and the longest day, o yea cold mtn is a good one too even if it isnt all war, what about yall?

Who doesn't like handicapped girls? I mean there is nothing like the feeling of a girl going into a siezure while she is riding you or when she makes those damn sexy groaning and gurggling noises before you even touch her.

i like them all. but the thin red line. gay as hell. it had george clooney on the cover....he was in it for 47 seconds. jim cavisal, when he wasnt famous at all, the star of it, was not on the cover. and the movie was stupid.

dont fuck with this. i am war movies. ive seen and own an incredible ammount of war movies. the thin red line was supposed to be artisic and came out as shitty. i was just pointing out part of it. that is a beef with people buying the movie and not liking it. personally i have much imput about the movie. not the cover. it was just a short comment on the movie. anything deeper besides this laughable problem with the movie would have been pointless. this wasnt a thin red line thread.

as for windtalkers, its way to gung ho (sp i kno)...the only good part is that its one of the rare movies to have a decent pacific campaign infantry part

yeah its pretty good. a great snow one with clint is where eagles dare or something. i think thats the one. there are two with "eagles" in the title. this one is snow. 7 dudes go into germany to get this pilot that is a spy thing. i dont want to ruin it. its so great.

Everyone should read the book Band of Brothers by Steven Ambrose, excellent book, gives you some real insite into Winters, Nixon, and the NCO's like Lipton. Also, will give you more perspective on the show.

a movie isnt amazing and a masterpiece if they add a scene of a white bird thats been hit by fire in the middle of a battle with that dramatic "ho ho ha ha eha eha yum um" music. the movie's message about the brutality of war is lost in a script that is just in all senses over played and over dramatic. the battle scenes are generally fair at best. there is nothing in peticular you can rewind and watch again in slow motion because its that amazing. evry war movie presents the "brotherhood of the soilders" meshed with the "gritty struggle they had to endure", this movie just adds more grown men getting really upset over it. adding that element of drama attempts to make it a more powerful movie and trys to engineer it to win academy awards. it won a bunch of them, but by just reading the script of the movie, you can tell it was sent out TO WIN in the first place. the academy just looks for "that essence of beauty, power, and emotion, a film should bring to the screen". which is exactly why those bastards have never nominated a pauly shore movie. im sure if you polled america more people would choose to watch Bio-Dome over Kinsey or yes even the Thin Red Line.
