hector was reluctant to fight, and it is the only trojan death that is truely morned, and is the turning point in the illiad as the entire empire lived and died on his shoulders. im not saying achilles is not the biggest stud, he is, just that the importance and weight that hector held was far greater in the grand scheme of the war.
