from how it was described to me from a park guy it sounded like a trap box with an up gap down going across the other way to make an x kindof like the xgames 2 years ago where the skiers were forced into a big air
That would be even more sick than the one in that pic! It would be sick if they set the Spot up so you can hit jumps and jibs for the entire run, like from the time you get off the alpine meadows lift all the way to the bottom. It sucks hitting 1 or 2 features than hiking.
theyll have northface park open, that should be decent:
"2 medium jumps with 2 take offs on each; 30' flat box; 1 down picnic table; 1 mail box street spine; 1-15' double barrel; 1 medium step down jump; 1 dragon's tail box"
i doubt there will be anything in the spot. either way ill be there all day tomorrow.
dude im so pumped... i live in ohio and ski at mad river and it has a 30 ft table and a 25 ft step up that u dont have enough speed to clear.... these jumps will be a fun relief after a long winter
"The Spot" Terrain Park Grand Opening is Saturday!!! 35' Tabletop jump; 40' step down jump;55'"S" box; 30' Tripple barrel rail; 40' Rainbow rail; 12'x10' Wall ride and 35' Bus stop rail.
"The Spot" Super Halfpipe Grand Opening is Saturday!!! 18' walls, 440' long!! Competition Superpipe
maybe for the pipe but me and my bro were hittin the jumps an they were sick... the first one u had to tuck as hard as u could but the 2nd jump... which is bigger anyways ... if u hit with full speed you could probey go 60 ft.+ its sick.. me and my bro are going back later so if anyone else is let me know
yeah i didnt see really anyone doin anything in the pipe and im not crazy about rails so i didnt know.. you should check out the jumps tomorrow tho if your here
