2024 Movement Skis Ski Gear
The story of Movement is one of liberation, adventure, and embracing the freedom found in the mountains. They are the Freeski company, born in Switzerland from the minds of a group of passionate skiers who shared a common vision: to craft ski products that enabled skiers to explore uncharted territories. They see skiing as a way of life with boundless possibilities. From humble beginnings, they set out to create a brand that would break free from convention and redefine the ski industry.
With some of the most unique ski shapes on the market for the last decade, everything at Movement comes back to freedom and innovation. The unique innovative shapes make for both a unique riding experience and some hilarious chairlift conversations. At Movement, freedom is more than just a concept—it's the guiding principle.
Recent years have seen the Movement build a unique team they call the Tribe, perfectly matching the brand philosophy. The Tribe is headed up by Thibault Magnin, who now has a pro model, and Freeride World Tour crusher Maxime Chabloz. But it's the new additions, Siver Voll, Hugo Burvall, Aleksi Patja & Linus de Bros who are most exciting to us. They have a movie dropping in the coming weeks and it's bound to be a heater with that squad involved.
It's worth noting that Movement, runs their own state-of-the-art factory. The manufacturing process is a testament to their unwavering commitment to quality and precision. With meticulous attention to detail, each ski is expertly crafted ensuring exceptional performance and durability. From the careful selection of materials to the skilled craftsmanship applied at every stage, the manufacturing reflects our dedication to delivering superior products that stand the test of time.
The FLY series are their freestyle/freedride skis, offering everything from a 90mm underfoot slopestyle weapon to a 115mm powder destroyer and everything in between. These skis are very much a family, feeling very natural to swap between widths, making for one of the most versatile series out there right now. The 95 & 105 are the ones you'll find most of the Tribe on most of the time, but all four widths crush it.
