** SPOILER ALERT **
So i just saw the 2 last episodes and lets recap.
so first off, lily has her baby, no surprise there except that he has the most awsome middle name ever haha.
so the second episode seems to have a lot goin on. it opens on whatt is described as a "wedding day that went horribly wrong" and it is apparently a little way down the road. lily tells ted that the barney's bride wants to see him. so right off the bat, if barney's bride is quinn, then why would she want to see him? they're not all that close. thats where the skepticism begins.
then it flashes back to may, in the hospital. robin gets on good terms with ted again and through discussions with her, ted realizes that the only right women for him, the "one" he could have a family with, is victoria ( a girl he dated a while back and went to like germany or smt, then he sees her 8 months later and finds out she's engaged). so he calls her and meets her a mcLaren's only to see her in a wedding dress and finds out she wants to run away with him. conflicted, he decides to go anyway, knowing he will be ruining a weding. but he then tells her that she's just talking her to her wedding.
Meanwhile, barney is freaking out about quinn at the hospital because he's been gone for three days and they didnt exactly leave things on good terms (he tried to control her life in some way by getting her a job at gnb so she'd stop stripping). He gets home to find quinn in a "Tinkerbell's vagina" style appartment. he's just stoked she's still there. so then there's the whole airport-tsa thing with the bad ass magic trick and when barney finds out quinn quit her stripper job for him, he ends up proposing to quinn and not going to Hawaii. So they go back to lily's and marshall's place to tell everyone. so they do, everyone cares, etc. he then stays back with robin and personnaly i had completely forgotten about they're whole romance thing. so the second i see the look on their faces i knew right away --> barney's gonna hit that. and sure enough and go back to barney's wedding and show marshall and ted talking about how it all kinda makes sens, etc. so ted talks to the bride and BOOM: its Robin.
But back to Ted and victoria. It goes back to them riding in the car. So its sunset and ted decides to just drive by the church. victoria, kind of in shock, seems to be dowm^n with it. they hold hands and drive out to the sunset, leaving us to believe that she is the mother. Oh so it would seem..
Thoughts: I got 2 main thoughts.
1.) Poor Quinn! she goes through all that with barney, quits her job and everything and ends up not marrying barney. but then again, maybe he dumped her. but seen as how he's marrying robin, the chick he's been after for a while, i doubt that she was the dumper.
2.) i dont think victoria is the mom, it was just so writer BS to keep the story goin. She was in mo way important enough. This is what i think might happen: So we know that barney and robin's wedding is going to be a disaster. so i can only assume the wedding is not gonna happen. also, in a previous episode, marshall has a bet the ted will end up with robin and when ted decides to move on, marshall decides to not pay up yet, just like at stella's wedding, which tells us he still has hope for them. So maybe, robin wants to see ted to tell him she wants to end up with him and is finally ready for the whole kids thing? And since ted starts his relationship with the mother at the wedding we know its definetly not victoria because he just started that one. and i know that its "aunt robin" and all the reasons for the mom not to be here, but i'm sure the writers can find a way to turn it around somehow.
but yeah now that there's only one season left, what's gonna happen? shit is gonna have to go down, cant wait.
