Looking to get into smoking

Look, I know this is a stupid thread and all, haters gonna hate, whatever. I'm looking to start occasionally smoke weed. Yeah, I'm a badass, get over it. I have a few friends that smoke so I wanna do it occasionally do it with them. I was thinking of just buying a cheap little metal pipe and a grinder. Anything else I need to get started? I don't really know where to get weed but I'll check around. Also, what's it gonna be like my first time? Am I gonna cough like a bitch? Really I'm just looking for some helpful tips to get started. you dont really need a grinder if youre just smoking a bowl. and metal pipes are nice for beginners because they are cheap and wont break if you drop it, but youre probably going to want at least a glass bowl eventually. just dont get caught, dont become a skeevy pothead who only talks about smoking weeeeed and spends hundreds on a bong, and youll probably want to learn to roll joints because its fun and relaxing.

as far as shitty habits go, its not that shitty. a waste of money? yeah. a good way to potentially get kicked out of school? yeah. but if youre responsible and dont make an ass of yourself its fine.

Yeah you shouldn't start this but anyway, if you have friends doing it and you want to do it with them, just ask them directly for advices. And get the weed from them.

But again you shouldn't start. You will get a lot of this in your thread..

Smoke with your friends first before you buy anything. You'll probably cough a little but that's fine. The reason I advise you to hold off on buying anything is because you may not like it. I hate the person it makes me so I never smoke.

pick up some rolling papers and learn how to roll a mean joint.  I prefer zig zags or ez widers usually.

hit up your friends the next time they are smoking and maybe just get in on a couple rotations to get a feel for being high in general.

If you find yourself buying a sack, take that shit home and pack a few bowls or practice your joint rolling!

Don't buy a metal pipe. Buy a nice solid glass chillum. SMall and easy to stash, cheap, but it's glass.

Just so you guys now I'm not gonna become a crazy pothead addict, I'll probably only smoke a few times a month. I'm gonna make sure to go places I won't get caught. I would much rather smoke weed than drink too. So I don't need a grinder if I just have a little metal pipe?

I'm so glad i'm over the whole " let's get burn and do nothing bullshit" i'm honestly glad i've cut way the fuck back and hardly EVER smoke now. It's honestly not worth my time at least. Maybe it's because i've been on a health binge the past few months and saw this as something that held me back. But honestly was sick of living the stoner lifestyle, it's honestly not all its cracked up to be and people think it's the most badass thing ever. smoking weed made me lazy, groggy, and hungry all the time. It's was pathetic. Not here to cause a debate about it because i'm 100% for weed, but it's just not for me anymore.

inb4 weed doesn't make you lazy, you make yourself lazy.

Just get a cheap GLASS bowl or a chillum that you think looks cool at your local headshop. It will probably be between 420-$30. Then after that all you need is weed and a lighter. Don't worry about hate until the "day walkers" of NS are on. Pussyfarts.

amen man....my roomies and I spent almost all our college years going to class coming back and rolling a swisher and playing cod4.....after college I took a year off from it and it was great, do I still toke the occasional bowl? hell yeah I do....for me weed is so much better when you toke for a day or two with a buddy and then wait 2 months for the next time.

same hing with me, just dont expect to "trip balls" or anything whih alot of people seem to think will happen if they have never been high. You should practice with that fake weed since its legal. I think its called Spice or K2 or some shit.

Aren't you like 15 or something? Don't start smoking weed. I've smoked a few times, its nothing special. You blow a ton of money on weed, then a ton on food. I know I'm only 16 and not really in the position to be giving and advice. There is a time and place for everything. That's what my dad tells me. Just because your friends do it, doesn't mean you have to.

It's good for you. Spray some old spice deodorant on it first. IT won't smell so your mom won't know, and it's always nice to mix the new with the old spice.

mooch off your friends. that'll serve you well for a couple years and then start buying your own if you want to smoke more. but if you smoke with them you'll only smoke occasionally and you'll have fun doing it with other people. just reimburse them for what you smoke

I still blaze everyday before bed, and actually most weekends from 9am to 2am (while skiing=>before dinner=>party) lol but i cant have smoking weed be the activity anymore, too much time wasted not doing shit, i even realize this when stone out of my gourd. Hell i can get a med card and do that when im too old to shred. Advocating the lifestyle is pretty lame though, its like advocating that you do what the rest of america does....buy food and watch tv

I would surgest that if you have really set your mind on trying it then try with your friends that toke. Personally i would just learn how to roll j's instead of buying a pipe. Also just a warning its very easy to get really shitty weed from some dealer you dont know, just smoke with your friends and learn the tools of the trade.

I choose to make weed a occasional thing, then i have more fun when i smoke it then if it was an everyday thing,

Learn your shit before you get all into it tho, research it learn about it.

if this is true then hold off OP. Wait till youre 16. I started smoking the summer i was 16. If you truly want to right now i know some random kid on the internet is not going to change your mind. But i know 14 year olds who smoke. They just get really annoying. Also when you can drive yourself around its a lot easier to smoke and go somewhere.
