Sounds good, yeah the first couple ones you probably won't notice a difference. But when you get into it more and find your favorites you'll definitely prefer the shop more.
Thats what I would do, I think its good to save Cohibas and CAO's for after you've developed a nice taster for cigars and can really appreciate the subtleties.
Also, for a beginner, CAO is a very good brand to start with because they make a great variety. Moontrances and their other small tubos are super fun and tasty.
Cohibas are real nice I got a few when I went to the Bahamas but the best I've had around here (MA) are probably Romeo and Juliet's. One time when I was in Florida though I saw a stand with a little old black dude hand rolling cigars idk what kind they were but they were real nice Deffinately the best one I've ever smoked
I've only smoked the shitiest of the shit at parties. AKA cherry cheyannes and black and milds so I have no clue what a good cigar is like. honestly I think they are fucking gross and I only ever hit them when I'm drunk and want to show off my smoke rings. this thread seems pretty knowledge filled so I was just wondering why are good quality cigars so appealing and what makes them different from the shit i've smoked.
This. Romeo y Julieta's are by far my favorite. I also really enjoy Macanudo's and Cohibas My dad owns a ruth's chris and keeps a fully stocked humidor in the bar so he gets free cigars whenever he wants it's our tradition to sit outside and share a nice cigar every so often. Don't smoke often but when i do i love it because the taste and smell bring about a lot of good memories for me.
I usually smoke MC#4 if it's up to me, or whatever my more cigar-inclined friends decide to buy for everyone. But I only probably smoke five or six times a year.
Rafikighurka is basically the land rover of cigars - way overpriced for the quality. while they're still good cigars, they're under par for the price.
I agree for the most part but my friend and I, who have tried just about everything, had a gurkha centurion as part of a sampler pack and it was amazing.

But seriously though. Looking for a good cigar to smoke after graduation.
I'd like a lighter cigar but something that still has the potential to put me on my ass. That Connecticut kreme seems like a good cigar.

i would suggest the macanudo cafe hyde park it is similar to the kreme. super smooth and tasty. you're not gonna get knocked on your ass from a creamy smooth cigar like these though. if you want something a little bolder try an arturo fuente gran reserva. probably the best cigar i've ever had for the price
