Someone broke in/walked into my house tonight

The building I live in is 2 stories. Top floor is my home, bottom floor is a clothing company. There is only one door though and no door going up to the second floor.

I only left once today and it was while the business was still operating so the door was open when I came home. When they left, they should have made sure everything was locked.

So, I'm just about ready to go to bed. My phone was in the living room charging. I was in the bathroom. I heard someone come up the stairs so I went into my bedroom and locked the doors. They walked around, didn't test any of the doors, played the piano and then went back downstairs.

I freaked the fuck out. Didn't have a phone so I messaged people on facebook till I found someone to come and check stuff out. Would have used skype, but this is a new computer and I haven't installed it yet.

Anyway, long story short, they ended up setting off the alarm. The police came. I had a mini heart attack... Now I'm on NS cause I can't sleep.

shit the piano playing part is like straight out of a horror movie. im sorry you cant sleep. do you have someone who can sleep over for the night? (no sex pun intended, just saying on nights like these its nice to have someone else there for security)

No, but my phone is charged now, and I've only got 3 more hours before daylight. I'm finally getting tired again. I'll make it through. Thanks for the concern though.

aka the adrenaline is finally starting to wear off.
 just remember. all the doors windows, everything is locked and secure. theres no way they can get in without trippin the alarm, and that just wont happen. no one is stupid enough to go to the same place twice ever. even the dumbest criminals would never do that. its the most common of common sense.

That's maaad creepy.  Phantom of The Opera shit. 

The off-campus house I'm living in at school gets broken into all the time, so I installed a desperate lock on my door. 

But good time the alarm got tripped.  But the cops showed?  At my parents house, there is this oothing on-star type call to your phone where you let them know it's all right and they call off the fuzz..

I should really proofread.  I meant seperate lock, not desperate lock.  And "good thing the alarm got tripped," not good time. 

And I also meant "soothing" on-star type call.  "Oothing" is probably a naughty word in some language.

That's actually very reasonable. 

@Rachy: did you get a soothing on-star type call and asked them to send the police anyway..which is a very good idea. criminals are bad. especially obviously drunk hooligans. this is why i love rudi guliani, for that time he had all the homeless rounded up and shot.

for serious, I don't actually support genocide.  but he did put them in shelters. which i supported.

Chill man, I'm just participating. If you want to get into who does or doesn't whore posts, check your total posts compared to mine, and then look at who's been a member for longer. I hate to use math, because you may not have learned it, but divide the number of post each by amount of time as a member, and you'll have your answer.

Scary lol , one time when i was 12, jehovas witness people just walked into my house when i was home alone. I didn't know it was them so i grabbed my pelet gun and hid in a corner until they left. Still, who do they think they are just walking into my house without knocking

Real Life Horror movie? but id have a friend spend the night, but a guy have sex with him then he goes in to bathroom once done gets murdered then you here piano again, go into the room like a dumbass world and theres no one there! ahhhhhhhhhhh then you hear foot steps from behind and and you run like hell toward the door when you realize the doors locked and your in underwear and a shirt and have no key, the person is coming closer and for the next 5 minutes you have a pointless chase the the person leaves.... then the next night you wake up at 2:38am hearing a moan in the other room and you don;t know what to do, so you just sit the and the moan becomes louder and louder then then open the door veryyyy slowly, with that little creek like errrrrrrrr ta, you just pretend to be asleep and the figure slowlyy moves forward toward you then you look up and its just someone in a black robe, but for some reason it's a snuggie but like 8xxxxxl and it drags behing the figure and you notice the figure has a shoulder sort of cocked back like a boss and leanin like a thug, then the figure de-hoods himself and you recognize the figure but as soon as you get a good look, it vanishes.......


now someone else should continue the story...

anyway it was probably just some drunk person or whatever. pretty brazen to walk into a person's apt and play the piano though, and you can never be too safe with stuff like that. tell the people downstairs to get their shit together
