Lincoln 180s and Rodeo 5s

We were hitting a powder kicker a few weeks ago, and i was doing lincolns really good for me. So I started doing Lincoln 180s and my frineds said they were Rodeos 540s. So my question is whats the difference?

a lincoln 180 is simply a lincoln loop to late 180
a rodeo 5 is an OFF AXIS flare (backflip 180), a textbook rodeo is not an invert, rather a spin with your body perpindicular to the pull of gravity.

if you were doing lincoln 180's and kinda blended the 180 and the lincoln, and did it a bit off axis, it could easily become a rodeo.

thats actually really good for you. If you can do a linkin 180, that means you should beable to do a rodeo 5 and a misty 5. They are the same rotations etc. A linkin you should it directly to your hip and rotate 180 late, the rodeo you bring your arm thow a little more instead of to your hip and a misty is the same motion but across your body to the opposit hip. Same flip same rotation just slightly different angles of rotation.

Remember the x-games the first year they had big air, when JF won with a switch,ugly ass 7. Candide was throwing monster Lincoln 1's and Moseley was throing Rodeo 7's. The Rodeo 7 had an extra 180 in there but other than that, do they look anything alike? No they really dont. So they are not the same trick and dont look the same either.

k2keepspimp a dinner roll is most definetely not a lincoln loop 360. in a lincoln loop you stay looking at one point ahead the whole time and your body does a side-ways cart wheel. so a lincoln loop with a late 360 would not look at all like a dinner roll.

Holy fuck. Cant you people just realize that there is no DEFINITE trick? A misty is an off axis flip, same with a D-spin. SPINS THAT GO OFF AXIS ARE ALSO FLIPS THAT ARE OFF AXIS. everything is really blended together. There is no clear rodeo 5 or lincon loop. A 360 can become a front flip if you cork out the rotation enough. All that really matters is the DEGREE to which tricks are inverted. for example, a spin that doesnt make your feet go over your head is a cork, and a d is a spin that makes you feet go over your head. Its just like that.
People need to realize that there is no Definite name for a trick. IT CAN BE A RODEO 5 AND A LINCON 3 AT THE SAME TIME.

I think we should call tricks, spins for upright spins, inverts for on axis flips, and corks for everything inbetween and stop the arguing
