Seymour and Stratton YGO Sold Out, Avila Not Far BehindThat’s it; it’s over... online registration for the Mount Seymour, B.C. Young Gun event is full.  All available online spots are sold out.  But… there will be a few spots available for on site registration (11 female spots and 8 male to be exact).  If you want one of them, show up early on February 4, 2006  (Additional Stratton spots to be determined later).Make sure to show up to the “Brown Bag Room” beneath the main base lodge at Mount Seymour at 7:30am Saturday morning February 4th.  Registration will go from 7:30am until 9:00am.  The course opens as soon as the lifts turn (8:30am).  The sooner you check in / register, the sooner you get to practice.Schedule7:30 – 9:00                        Check In / Registration8:30 – 10:00                      Practice10:00 – 10:00                    Athlete Meeting at top of course10:15 – 2: 20(approx)        Qualifier Heats (Men & Women)2:30 – 3:30 (approx)          Finals (Men and Women)4:15                                   Award Ceremony*Actual times will be posted at the event.FormatThe Young Gun Open is a jam format event.  Each heat offers unlimited runs and no start order.  However, each competitor is guaranteed at least two runs.  If your heat is coming to the end and you have not taken your second run, speak up, step the to front and kill it.Waivers / Liability FormsEveryone who competes must sign all waivers and liability forms or you will not be allowed to compete.  (There are two that must be signed.) Last but not least  All Siver Young Gun competitors are eligible for a discounted room rate at the Holiday Inn at the bottom of the Mtn access road.  $99 / night (cnd).  Feel free to crash after or before the event.
