The weather in Aspen continued to provide less-than-ideal conditions for Saturday's events. Women's superpipe was set to go down under the lights in the snow and fog. One major omission was Eileen Gu, who sustained an injury in slopestyle training, with the favourite missing it out it would be anyone game in a stacked field. With progression being at the forefront in Aspen this year we were set for a battle, for podium spots and for speed.

First through the ditch was Sabrina Cakmakli, who put down both-way 5s in a clean run. She lost some speed through the pipe , but we were underway! Svea Irving put down a complete run, with an alley-oop left 5, and 9 to alleyoop3 followed by a switch left 5, back-to-back 5s. Dylan Glennie had a solid first run, her right 9 safety a highlight.

Zoe Atkin, didn't seem to have too many issues with the speed her opening left 5 mute was huge, and her run also had a right 7 to rodeo 5 combo followed by a 3 blunt to switch 5 which was enough to earn the first spot. Amy Fraser showed off her trademark 9 off the back of a switch 7. This was enough for a preliminary second before being bumped down to third by Rachel Karker whose amplitude earned her that spot after round 1. Brita Sigourney wiffed her tail on a very big left 9, which hurt a good run containing alleyoop 5 and left 7. Rachel Karker also went down.

Svea Irving struggled with speed going switch through the transition in her 2nd run but opening 900 safety was boosted. An improvement through the run bumped her up to 4th. Dylan Glennie clipped the deck early which hurt her amplitude through the pipe. Brita Sigourney had a run with lots of amplitude in run 2 but only span left; left 9, alleyoop left 5, switch left seven and switch left AO 3. Not enough to trouble the top of the pack. Rachel Karker landed her first full run at the second time of asking, back-to-back 9s and both ways flairs made this one stand out, the judges saw it too and bumped her up to first. Hannah Faulhaber went down on her left 9 to not challenge the podium this run.

Dillan Glennie, and Svea Irving came for Amy's spot 4th spot in run 3. Amy kept 4th in the end by cleaning her run up - SwR7, L9, back-to-back flairs and an R9 to finish. Zoe Atkin went down on an alley-oop flat 5 for the second run in a row. He left 5 mute was massive though, travelling 11ft above the deck. Brita Sigourney got a little lost on her right cork 7 and got stuck with a lack of speed, falling, and Rachel cleaned up her run but without scores, we wouldn't see how much she increased her breathing room at the top.

This one came down to the wire, Svea Irving got herself into 3rd turning up the dial on her run, AO flat 5, left 9, AO 3, switch left 3, right 5, left 5. The amplitude, flow and style were present on this deservedly putting her on the podium. Zoe Atkin went into first with her run, amplitude and locked grabs on the left 5 mute to right 7 Cuban alongside the switch right 7 on the final hit were the mark of a gold medal run here. Rachel Karker threw down but her back-to-back 9s, Japan on the left, and cork seven safety but it wasn't enough to unseat Zoe. Rachel finished in Second with Svea in third.
