Skiing to the village will be available for December 1, bringing the amount of vertical to 4,725 feet. With over 5,000 acres available to ski and ride, Whistler Blackcomb offers the most terrain in North America. “It’s such a winter wonderland in Whistler,” says Alex Hearn, the voice of Whistler Blackcomb’s Snow Report. “November was an amazing start to the season; we got lots of snow overnight and then blue bird skies and sun during the day. You couldn’t ask for a better combination.” Offering the most skiable acreage and vertical in North America, skiers and riders can upload Whistler Mountain via the Whistler Village Gondola and the Creekside Gondola. Lifts open for skiing and riding include: Big Red Express, Emerald Express, Harmony Express, Franz’s Chair and Olympic Chair. On Blackcomb, guests can upload via Excalibur Gondola and Wizard Express with Solar Coaster, Excelerator Chair, Crystal Chair, Jersey Cream Express and Catskinner Chair open for skiing and riding.
