Jib League is a pretty big deal. It might toe the line of derivative naming (Street League anyone?), but that aside, it's probably the best thing to happen to competition skiing since, well actually maybe ever. Today sees the release of 'The League', a new action documentary offering an inside look at the inaugural season of the groundbreaking competition series.

Jib League aims to redefine the landscape of freeskiing competitions and "The League" captures the excitement and intensity of each event, highlighting the huge variety of skiing on show.

"The League" takes viewers on a journey through the series' genesis, featuring a behind-the-scenes look at the three events that made up the first season of Jib League: Nordkette, Crans Montana, and Myrkdalen. Mathias Skaarup and the team at Holocene studio were there for the whole journey, and their passion for the sport shines through in the production.

The film also dives deeper into the motivations of the minds behind Jib League as "The League" as they discuss their vision for the sport and the series going forward, with Ferdi in particular really opening up as to why a change needed to happen.
