This November, the Snowbound Expo hits up the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, with an immersive winter and outdoor experience like no other. This event puts you at the epicentre of the ski industry and is a perfect opportunity to get stoked for winter. Checking out the latest and greatest of this winter’s hardgoods and apparel, hearing inspiring talks from a wide range of speakers, meeting many other influential heads in the industry as well as getting one-on-one time with some of the minds behind your favorite resorts.

City-based snowsports events are a joy to be around and a part of. Bringing our community together and focusing a city on the thing we love, for the days that Snowbound is on (18th-20th November) the electricity of the city will be turned towards skiing. It is an unrivaled opportunity to get your hands on the freshest gear; getting these products in hand before making a purchasing decision seems an ever-increasing rarity with online retail being how we more often than not buy our gear. Brands like Auclair, 686, Head, Volkl and 4FRNT, all present a tangible taste of what the season has to offer is a true highlight.

The chance to talk one-on-one with product developers about the changes and inspiration behind lines with those most involved is second to none for a gear nerd. In addition to this, resort teams from our favorite spots such as Killington and Sugarbush will be present, offering a unique opportunity to pick their brains about the upcoming season and what you can expect from the parks and events.

Stands will not only have the latest and greatest gear from their 2023 line-ups they will also have, as all good events in skiing should, plenty of opportunities to buy beers and quench your thirst. All while the hunger for winter continues to rage as the snow starts to fall across the northern hemisphere.

There will be huge opportunities to get your hands on this year's gear and passes at discounted prices, or if you’re lucky, win it. There's plenty to get stoked for! 4FRNT will be offering $100 off any ski purchased at the event, Tremblant resort will have exclusive lift pass prices for attendees of the Expo and Head/Tyrolia are hosting a raffle with a Head ski and Tyrolia binding combination or a 22/23 Ikon pass the prize for the lucky winner, their stand will also have a Wheel of Swag with plenty on offer.

Opportunities to learn are abundant as well, with two stages of talks from legends, including Chris Davenport, which will cover epic tales of adventure, practical mountain skills and inspiring stories.

As with any huge event in the ski industry it is set to bring a level of rowdiness to Boston that only skiers know how to bring. With venues already looking to book out afterparties and movie premieres filling the weekend, such as Salomon’s Quality Ski Time. Keep an eye out in the weeks leading up to the event for more events and debauchery to hit Boston.
