Seeing as how they spend so much time getting cozy on the podium together, why wouldn’t the top three U.S. Freeskiing Open Slopestyle finishers share living quarters? Tanner, Jon, and C.R., who also took the podium 13 days ago at the X Games Slopestyle event, finished first, second, and third, respectively, beating out an impressive list of competitors in last Friday's finals. Rounding out the 12-man final heat were Candide Thovex, Phil Belanger, Mickael Descheneaux, Andrew Woods, Peter Olenick, Vincent Dorion, Chris Turpin, David Crichton, and Phillipe Warren. To take the crown, Tanner mastered the S-rail that no few people could conquer all day and threw a huge 900 tail grab for good measure. Jon threw the smooth, stylie spins that have made him the international powerhouse he is.
