The Newschoolers Open is our take on a truly open video contest. Five tricks, filmed in a public park and uploaded to Instagram. No fancy cameras, no music, no video editing... winner takes all.

Below you'll find our five women's and men's finalists as voted on by our panel. With some absolutely mental submissions, it was a tough job for our Team Auclair judges and NS staff to cut these down to five in each category. Huge thanks to ABM, Kim Lamarre and Eddy T for lending their expert opinion on these because with the depth and variety of entries, we would have been a split panel. It's worth noting here that only those over 18 and residents of the US & Canada were eligible, because we had some insane clips that had to be disqualifed. We're hoping to open it up further next year but lawyers gotta law.
