Mt. Rainer...how to describe it. It's an enigmatic mountain. For one, it was my first sight of snow all summer. First time boot skiing in a LONG time. Lots of fun. It was also the hardest physical thing I have ever done. 80 MPH winds near the summit gave me the worst windburn ever...plus it was from 12:00 AM to 5:45 AM summit morning.

However, deadly ice falls, scree scrambling, rapelling, crevasse jumping, and boot skiing all made up for it.

Then on course summit!
