Mammoth Mountain, CA – Mammoth Mountain is proud to announce that it will be releasing a full-length video featuring the incredibly talented Unbound Team. The video, titled “Hot Laps”, will premiere on the opening weekend of the 2009/10 winter season in a free outdoor showing to be followed by a party. Mammoth has teamed up with Snowboarder Magazine to distribute 100,000+ copies of “Hot Laps” for free to the public with the Superpark Issue of Snowboarder Magazine to be released in January 2010.

“Not only does Mammoth have the best parks in the world, but it has some ridiculous big mountain in-bounds terrain as well, and there is so much insane backcountry around here,” says Mammoth Team Rider Gabe Taylor. “Nowhere else even comes close to this kind of variety!”

“Hot Laps” will take a step away from the traditional video format by featuring only terrain at or near Mammoth Mountain, including the world-famous Unbound Terrain Parks. Two full-time videographers were brought on by Mammoth to capture video footage of the Unbound Team for an entire season for the movie.

The rider lineup, which will feature the Mammoth Unbound Team and friends, reads more like a dream team than a typical video lineup. Featured riders include Olympians Danny Kass, Mason Aguirre and Mercedes Nicoll. Other standouts include Greg Bretz, Eddie Wall, Gabe Taylor, Tyler Flanagan, Sketchy-D, Tara Dakides, Lonnie Kauk, Trevor Jacob, Molly Aguirre, Matt Hammer, Jared Dawoud, Alex Dawoud, Cody Rosenthal, Shane Pospisil, Eric Jackson, Peter Benchetler and friends. Mammoth Unbound Team skiers Chris Benchetler and Pep Fujas will even be included in the action.

A new website has been launched to provide all the latest details about the movie including movie snippets and trailers, photos, rider bios and blog entries. Check out all the goods at http://www.PlayBigProductions.com.
