It’s hardly a secret that we’ve adopted Sunshine Village as our collective home resort (or perhaps they have adopted us). Spring is blooming now and it's slushy in the park so it’s the perfect time to get sendy.

We’re putting $2k on the line again as King and Queen of the Park returns to @ShredSSV for the fourth year in a row, giving anyone shredding the resort this season a chance to win the cash.

We’re asking you to show us your best 3 tricks from the varied parks Banff Sunshine Village has to offer. The contest opens soon (1st May 2024) and you have until 12th May 2024 to stack your clips and get them submitted! Only shots from this season will be accepted and the winners (announced the following week), take home a cool $1000 each.

The Newschoolers S-Rail is bound to be a high points feature, but there is so much to choose from between the Divide, Spring Hill, Grizzly & Strawberry parks that you're spoiled for choice. We're looking for tech tricks but also creativity, which is worth 25% of your overall score so be sure to think outside the box!

Here's how it works:

1.) Submit your best three (3) tricks filmed in terrain parks at Banff Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort, with recognizable landmarks identifying Banff Sunshine's parks. Please note, that ONLY park clips can be accepted.

2.) You may edit together multiple different clips (your run doesn’t need to be continuous). Entries can only be a maximum of one minute long!

3.) Multiple angles may be used, but at least one clip of each trick must show the full trick from takeoff to landing.

4.) Only raw audio files may be used. No music allowed.

Our judges will follow these criteria:

25% Creativity

25% Public Voting

50% Overall Impression

Queen of the Park: $1,000

King of the Park: $1,000

Eligibility:

To enter this contest, you must be the age of majority in your home province at the time of your submission and be a legal resident of Canada (excluding residents of Quebec).
