As you’ve already heard, the first training session of the 2011 Jon Olsson Invitiational went off, with two triples being stomped by Russ Henshaw and McRae Williams along with an attempted triple 18 by Klaus Finne. Unfortunately, Klaus got some bad news from the doctor this morning: a ripped Achilles tendon and three months of recovery time. Join us in wishing Klaus a speedy recovery!

Last night’s session called for some celebration, so we did just that. Just like in previous years, Bygget was the place to be, and Jon welcomed the riders in style by spoiling them in bubbles...

Today started off with grey skies and flat light. Luckily the rain that was predicted didn't show and gave the shapers time to work on the jump, but the lack of snow unfortunately caused today’s practice session to be cancelled.

While the Åre crew worked on the in run, the riders hit up the bowling alley. Wanne see who won? Check out Jon’s latest videoblog below…

After battling each other in bowling, it was time to enjoy some sun and mix the ski racers with the freeskiers. Because after all…we’re all here to have fun!
