Going off of my prior post...I've been pretty excited lately about Ian Ruhter's recent project called Down Town, LA. This image reminds me of James Nachtwey's effort in capturing these critical social issues. Ian's writing about his mission to get this shot describes his fears of posting up on this street in an effort to capture a moment that is representative of times in the U.S.If you can't see all of the people sleeping on the sidewalk, click the photo to enlarge.
This is our episode with ex-pro skier, Ian Compton. Ian spends his time now off in the middle of Vermont, building houses, and making some extremely nice kitchen accessories out of wood. This is my new favorite episode to date.
