Vancouver, BC, February 12, 2008 - The dedicated crew that brought you the ski movie IDEAwill premiere part one of their new project, Hunting Yeti, presented by K2 Skis, this Friday at evo in Seattle, WA.

The crew (Eric Pollard, Pep Fujas, Andy Mahre and Chris Benchetler), collectively known as Nimbus Independent, will show the first webisode at evo headquarters in Seattle on Friday. Come out and be one of the first in the world to witness this amazing group of skiers and producers in their new film, Hunting Yeti - a ground-breaking shift in the world of ski films.

This season, Nimbus aims to change how skiers think about ski movies by releasing five short webisodes - broadcast exclusively on - and one feature film, to be released in Fall, 2008. Each webisode will be accompanied by a release event at evo, as well as other core shops around the country. The webisodes will be released every eight weeks, on Feb. 15, Apr. 15,Jun. 15, Aug. 15 and Oct. 15, 2008.

Nimbus independent, along with Rip.TV is building a new model for film making and what it means, not only for the audience, but also for sponsors and media partners. Together with Rip, they are using the best in web technology to keep fans in anticipation throughout the year, and topping it off with a blockbuster video release on DVD this fall.

Sponsors and media partners will host the media player for skiers around the world to view the Hunting Yeti webisodes. The short film series will also be free to download from Rip in HD for computer and iPod viewing.
