Summer Session June 20 - 28Mammoth, CA
Empire has assembled a crew of eager rippers for another California session in Mammoth. The gang shoves off Monday June 19th from Jackson for a ten day adventure. Mammoth is currently running five lifts with a top to bottom gondola and 24 trails. The base depth is nearly 100 inches with the terrain park in full swing with soft slushy landings and forgiving corn snow. It is littered with booters, boxes, rails and bonks. A superpipe remains with nightly grooming keeping the transitions smooth and consistent.A shuttle will leave Jackson the 19th for the road trip to be remembered. We’ll be burning energy at skate parks from Wyoming to California with a mandatory stop in Reno to pick up the crew who flew. In Mammoth we have planned for seven days of shredding with an optional rest or backcountry day on Tioga Pass. Those interested in climbing a couloir and ripping it top to bottom will have this opportunity to earn their turns. Off the snow we will be frequenting the Jeff Anderson Memorial skatepark and Wave Rave vert ramp. An afternoon of gripped rippin dirt will go down when we take to the mountain bike trails and urban jibs with full suspension bikes. At the pad there will be a slack line challenge to test your balance. When bodies are due for some relaxation we will hit the hot springs and soak until we turn into rasins.Needless to say- there won’t be a dull day –during our Cali stay.To register or for more information visit http://www.empirefreeride.com or call 307.690.1310.-Mike and Rob
