Skiers, Snowboarders, Team managers, Ski film producers, Marketing dudes andfriends I say "GOOD DAY",Just wanted to give you an update on what I have been doing in the past fewmonths. As some of you may already know I've left the ski film business tomove into the realm of Film and Television post- production. My departurefrom Pléhouse Films was done the best way I could imagine. I think everyoneat Pléhouse is very proud of SKIMATIC and the company will grow more andmore. It was hard for me to say goodbye to the ski life, but the attractionof the film and television industry was to intense for me to refuse. Plus,everybody at Pléhouse was very supportive of this natural progression in mylife.So I will now be working for Mandarine24, a visual effects, animation andpost-production firm based in Montreal. I will execute the role producer andmarketing/communications manager for the company. We have recently doneeffects for several award winning music videos.BUT! Images are always better than words: we have re-done our website andit's online as of today.http://www.mandarine24.comCheck it out, it's really worth it!I will still be involved in snowsports through D-Structure and photographyand of course for the joy of riding. Comme plusieurs d'entrevous le savez, j'ai quitté la trépidente vie de l'industrie des sports deglisse contre l'excitante vie de l'industrie du cinéma et de la télévision.Mon départ de Pléhouse s'est fait exactement comme je le voulais.SKIMATIC est un franc succès et tous les gars chez Pléhouse appuyait madécision de quitter. De toute façon Pléhouse a le vent dans la voile et lacompagnie est entre très bonnes mains.Pour ce qui est de mon nouvel emploi, je suis maintenant rendu chezMandarine 24, une boite de post-production, animation et effets visuels basésur le Boul. St-Laurent à Montréal. J'y occuperai les fonctions deproducteur délégué ainsi que responsable du marketing et des communications.La petite entreprise, créée il y a un peu plus d'un an, compte déjaplusieurs prix et mention pour les projets qu'elle a réalisés.
