Sun Sep 8, 2:23 AM ET MOUNT BULLER, Australia - Steve Omischl won his first World Cup aerials ski event on Sunday, giving Canada a clean sweep of all four opening freestyle races of the season at Mount Buller in Victoria state's snowfields. Omischl beat Austria's Christian Rijavec, who led with just three competitors left after sitting in seventh position after Sunday morning's qualifying round. Olympic silver medalist Joe Pack of the United States finished in third place with Saturday's first-round winner Jeff Bean of Canada fourth. Earlier Canada's Veronika Bauer made it back-to-back victories in the women's event. With the final jump of the competition, Bauer's triple twisting double somersault placed her just ahead of Australia's Olympic gold medalist Alisa Camplin, who had earlier performed the same jump. Bauer also won Saturday's opening event of the season.
