Hey Newschoolers,

I would like to introduce my latest project, Alpenglow Ski Academy. I have been working on creating an online coaching platform that is both affordable and accessible to all. With lessons starting at $25, I know Alpenglow can be an affordable alternative to help develop skiers into top level freeskiers from anywhere. Personally, I never had the privilege of learning on a formal team and winning a USASA National Championship from trial and error. I have discovered many ways to learn tricks with minimal resources and would like to share this with other skiers who lack local coaching resources. Since my competition days, , I have become a coach for Park City and Jackson Hole freeski programs. I am a certified USSA/USASA Level 100 coach and believe that my history as a self-taught competitor and trained coach gives me the best perspective to help skiers of any age improve their skiing.

It is proven that professional skiers can be developed from anywhere in the world, whether you are from Park City or Ohio. Even if you goal is to ski in World Cups, filming a Real Ski part or just learn to slide a rail everyone can benefit from coaching. Developing solid fundamentals is essential to skiers in all disciplines. Alpenglow is here for the kids who are stuck skiing at small resort with no freeskiing programs. Most parents already face a large financial barrier to skiing and cannot afford programs such as Hood, Woodward, etc. That is where Alpenglow comes in. Our program will help skiers develop and reach their goals using online platforms that are available for free.

Alpenglow is an all online coaching platform unlike any other. Most other online coaching plans are prerecorded videos that talk about doing a trick, but Alpenglow is a personalized coaching plan. Athletes will send video clips to the coaches who will breakdown areas that need improvement. A live vide chat is included in every lesson to discuss what they can do to progress both on and off the hill. There are many simple at home techniques that can help improve the process of learning new tricks.
