accomplish their goals as a mountain enthusiast. The 06/07 Freeride
Scholarship will be offered exclusively to Females. This year’s
scholarship is proudly sponsored by Salomon Skis and Boots, Peak
Performance Apparel, Carrera Eyewear and Conformable footwear.The
06/07 winner will receive a cheque for $1000 Cash, a Salomon Ski and
Boot Setup, Full outerwear apparel from Peak Performance with the
opportunity to become a Peak Friend, Carrera eyewear and helmet
package, and a Footbed, Foamliner and Heater Package from Conformable.
The winner will also receive media exposure and future sponsorship
opportunities. The scholarship is awarded to those who are pursuing
excellence in their sport, and contributing to their community as a

The presentations are not judged on their editing or quality, but it never hurts to do a good job. The judges will choose the winner based on Interviews, Presentations and Crowd support. James has gone on to become a professional skier and star of Theory-3 Media films. Kevin competed on the World Freeski Tour, coaches freeskiing and is an accomplished writer. He has also starred in Warren Miller films. Ryan has gone on to become a professional snowboarder and continue to live the dream. Last year’s winner, Ptor spent the winter laying down gnarly first descents on huge peaks in India and Himalayas. He is one of the most experienced and respected ski mountaineers alive.<br />",1]
