Bought a pair of ON3P Krypto Pros from a good buddy with Pivot 15s mounted. Felt like a kid on Christmas Eve waiting for the season to start. Took these to a REI-like company (lesson learned) and paid $15 to get the Pivots adjusted since we have different boot sizes (yes I'm aware I could've just done it myself; lesson learned x2). TL;DR the ski tech straight up just remounted the Pivots without checking with me, and remounted them to the factory rec line which is absolutely NOT where I want them. I've asked the ski tech to mark where the holes would be if I wanted to remounted again to -1.5 cm, and send me pictures.
In the first picture, the blue filling is where my buddy's mount was, the holes are where the current remount is, and the purple markings are where the new remount would be at -1.5 cm for my boots. Aside from the fact that I never even paid/agreed for the remount in the first place, and a second remount could mess up future remount opportunities, am I tweaking or are the holes way to close together in the second picture? Am I overthinking this or are these skis fucked? If they're fucked, how fucked are they? Thanks.
