Duckduckgo

It’s crazy how censored google is. I was trying to find the full interview with Arnold Schwartznegger where he told some of his views about immigration, and on google I legit could not find it within the first few pages. Only short clips that make it seem like he’s biased one way or another depending on the part of the interview. But on duckduckgo I searched for the full interview and it was the very first result. Same typa thing happens when you search for anything politically divisive on google, it seems to be biased to give you a specific narrative. From what I’ve gathered it seems to align more with the left than the right, which makes sense as most big tech companies are based in left-dominated areas with left-dominated workers, and it unintentionally (or intentionally) affects the search engine. I’m not super politically extreme on either side but I do like to investigate politics online and this is pretty blatantly visible once you search for controversial topics. I notice this also leaks into AI models, where if you ask the exact, verbatim, same question but switch the words “left” for “right” then it will give you a genuine answer for the former, and a “I can’t talk about this subject” answer for the latter. Again I am not trying to say “the libs are censoring us!!” I am deadass just sharing what I believe to have discovered and asking what you guys have to say about it. I acknowledge the fact that the right has been associated with more violence recently, and that might affect googles search engine and AI models, but to extend that bias to anything that may align with the right wing is crazy to me.
