Good enduro bikes that can jump

nomads are rad. any jump is gonna come down to you more than the bike unless is steep as fuck bmx style dirt jumps and even then, it can be done. christian pepper hits djs on full 29er enduro set up.

nomad is a great do it all good but not do anything great bike. can be pedaled all around with some extra effort but the suspension makes it’s a great bike that can easily go from local trail rides to a bike park DH course. good choice if you are only gonna have 1 bike in my opinion

Any modern enduro will jump well just make sure you don't get it too big. It sucks being stretched out on a bike and not having the leverage you want to maneuver. I have a giant reign I really enjoy. My buddy has a yt capra that is pretty sick too.

Biff got it pretty spot on. If you're an average-height person it's hard to go wrong with any enduro bike these days.

I don't see any issue with a Nomad for the stuff you want to do, aside from price lol. Mullet is fun to flick around, especially on smooth and steep stuff. 170 travel is plenty to get you thru chunky stuff. It can definitely handle anything built with mountain bikes in mind.

Personal biased take:

I would strongly recommend a bike with proportional chainstays (Nomad has this), so you get a balanced feeling front-to-rear length ratio. I think that's the biggest good bike vs bad bike differentiator in the bike market right now.

I ride XL's and tend toward longer chainstay frames with lots of progression matched with a coil shock (calms down the rear in chunky stuff and feels like a platform in the mid-stroke to really push into jumps). You can achieve similar characteristics with a more linear frame on an air shock, albeit small differences in rear wheel grip.

Yes, that approach is more suited for racing and riding technical stuff fast, but I don't feel like I take any performance hit on jumps, in fact I appreciate being able to really load up the rear without that 'looping out' feeling.

If I had to get specific, I have yet to ride a better bike than a cascade-link V1 Forbidden Dreadnought.
