Hey i’m looking for any info on this ski. I’m looking for something light poppy and playful that can still handle steeps. I’ve struggled to find a lot of info on this ski out there so I’m looking to see if anyone has skied it and can offer more information. Also considering the chronic 101’s
Defiantly light and poppy, fairly softly flex but is mostly camber and has some carbon stringers so still has some support. Personally I’d want something more with rocker and taper for hitting steeps or chop (maybe something a little damper too) but that’s my preference.
it’s very playful but I’d defiantly say it’s more precise than surfy.
I work for 4frnt and ride the switch most out of all our skis. It has a light swingweight but full camber from tip to tail so you can rail turns and charge without feeling unstable. Super poppy ski from that type of rocker shape. Since they don't have much rocker in the tip and tail it can feel harder to release your edges going slower. Going faster helps with your pivoting and maneuverability in bumps/trees or chop on em
Im a big fan of the switch because its got a fun poppy feel like many park skis do, but its actually fun to ski all over the hill. Been super fun to take the park energy all over the hill, especially with every season spending less and less time in the park.
