Bought a fake capeesh belt on accident. Idk what to do with it, could Loki make a some tuff keychains with it. Fully my fault as as I forgot about rep belts that they started selling on alibaba a few months back. Heads up to anyone trynna buy capeesh belts from 3rd party sellers…
21CABBAGENah. Can mainly tell cuz tha buckle is unbranded and has a shitty stamp on it as well as the webbing being significantly smaller in width
Capeesh changed the threads a couple seasons back. I have an old one that I got at momentum thats a softer, less durable material that seems to fray easier. new material is tougher and stiffer, a lot more rugged. and I am pretty sure all buckles look like that. You prob just bought an older one.
Would be pretty funny having an alibaba factory cranking these out and using child slavery undermining every core principle of capeesh tho
id be surprised if there were many fakes of a small niche company like capeesh.
in high school I would get fake redbull hats and that shit was tight lol $7 to look like a pro at the skatepark just to be an absolute disappointed. best $7 i ever spent

I could see that as I had an older one with similar webbing to this one. It’s hard to tell in the picture but the logo in the unbranded buckle is burnt on poorly unlike the actual one with a much nicer finish. Either way it still works as a belt🤷♀️…

Really good deal on Armada Tracers, not sure if it's legit though as I don't see Weihai Xiang Peng Import And Export Co., Ltd. listed as an authorized Armada reseller.

RedBull hats pop up on Depop every now and then and I've considered buying one, but then I remembered I suck at everything and would just be putting more attention on myself...
One time I did meet a girl at a bar who had a legit Redbull hat tho. It was a good conversation starter because I knew you had to be somewhat affiliated to get their merch and we chatted about it for a while. She was apart of some moto team tho, and I know nothing about dirtbikes (and she was very out of my league) so didn't really try take it further than that. She deff appreciated the ego stroke tho haha
abjectwoeDamn I'm pretty sure you go to jail for stuff like this
It's an international crime being committed in a different country, I believe it would be near impossible to pursue. If it wasn't I'm sure counterfeiting wouldn't exist on such a massive scale, or at least not be producing every popular brand in every single consumer market: LV, Nike, Samsung, etc

I wasn't talking about who made the belt. I was talking about OP.
abjectwoeFake LV is cool. Fake capeesh is a crime.
Fake LV is not cool.
1. Real LV with the logo pattern is ugly so how can the fake thing be cool
2. Get a sense of swag
3. Fake LV or any type of LV is not suitable for the slopes like Birkin bags are.
4. Fake LV is C tier people type of behavior

I bought a Monster DC Gopro Fox Tshirt in Creete when I was a kid lmao
Pretty sure you just found their manufacturer and its the same belt as all the other ones around.
I remember finding Harlauts manufacturer on alibaba a while back and they also had the same pictures of pants like on the harlaut website
It probably goes like this: Lead orders their snowpants in Latvia. The company in Latvia orders the blanks in Pakistan, the pants go from Pakistan to Latvia and the company in Latvia embroiders the pants and puts on finishing touches which allows for the final product to be labeled as "Made in EU".
However I could be wrong and the alibaba-shop from Pakistan could just be using the same pictures with removed logos...

Wearing team gear on a night out seems like risky business
21CABBAGEthey took all capeesh products down for sum reason...
well i would guess this thread brought awareness to the issue and the homies alerted the homies at capeesh who hit up the manufacturer or alibaba to sort out the blatant copyright infringement.
