unijibsJust look the camera up on youtube. Couldn’t find any ski footage with that specific camera but I’ve found if it looks good on a skateboard it looks good on skis too

Christian_BaleWhat Jake said is mostly right. It's true that it is not the best performing camera out there, to put it mildly, but it's reliable and cheaper than say a 4k Panasonic although P2 cards are annoying and expensive. Don't think you actually need any software to import the clips, at least I don't use any for my HVX. I think it's similar to the hvx where the footage won't look good until you figure out how to use the camera. That was my experience anyway. Once you get the settings right you can get some really nice looking footage imo but it's really down to personal preference.
WeibussyThe camera I found came with 2 P2 cards. Do i need a reader of some sort that connects to my computer? If so, any suggestions?
Christian_Balenot necessarily. my windows computer has regular usb ports which macs don't have now I think, so I just use the charger for my ps3 controllers lol and plug the camera in directly to import the footage. that's good about the p2 cards, most people tend to sell them separately. how much space on the cards? I think you'd want about 64GB for a proper day of filming
