Am I that bad at skiing?

exit32I wanna go to ski camp this summer at mt hood, but I'm not very good. I ski at loon and i can hit every rail there, but i can only front 2 out of easy rails, and can barely back 2 out of tubes. I did 3 the xl's on the last day. Am I good enough what do you think?

Camps are for getting better. Only thing that matters is if you are better at the end than you were at the beginning.

Beyond that fuck what everyone else thinks. Have fun too though. Life is short.

They have various zones set up. The upper tower is everything crom dancefloor, rid on rails and an absolutely tiny jump. To a 2 pack of maybe 20-25 feet. And some rails that are a little bigger but still pretty small.

Lower tow will have medium-large rails and a 40-45 ish jump at the bottom.

Pro tow will have longer rails set hifher off the ground and a 55-60'jump.

Some people go that can't hit a rail. Some people already rip.

As mentioned its about getting better. Also they have a mini bag jump thats good for learning flips and corks.

Yeah camp is for getting better. If you can do all the tricks you want then you should stay home. There are lots of camp options so yeah I'd say send it if you are interested in a ski camp

Almost everyone signing up for camp is in the same boat, you should forget the comparisons and come to camp to learn some things both on and off-hill, while having one of the best weeks ever

Also take it from another fellow skier who grew up in New Hampshire/riding Loon before heading westward, your mind will be continuously be blown when you see the volcanos in person. Life changing experience when all you're used to is east coast geography

Did Hood on my own last summer. Amazing place. The camps had every skill level and everyone is pushing / cheering for everyone. You can’t go wrong at Hood.
