I saw cannibal corpse is touring, if they brought back Chris Barnes I would definitely make it to that show but not with that clown ass dude from monstrosity.

I'll think about other screamo/skramz bands to post in this thread that's totally not about death metal.

Just saw some hardcore band down in LA. Been a while since I've stage dove lol. We were going for the 3rd band Bleed but all the bands on the lineup were surprisingly good.
Footballhead from Chi, World of Pleasure(Canada), Bleed(TX), One step Closer(PA)

World of pleasure and onestep closer are straight edge I guess so there was a big straight edge scene. Didn't know it was still around but makes sense.

We went to a show in Reno a couple months ago and the openers were trash. The venue listed the wrong band on socials and we went early to catch them. Modern Color was solid though.


Idk it was interesting going to see some smaller bands in smaller venues again.

Never was super big into metal/hardcore scene but it was fun. Prolly will hit some more with these friends next season
