SuperiorKalmarImo it's good for backcountry calc if you can count to 10 without using your fingers
Rock_InhabitantI got apush, ap precalc, and ap music theory. ap music theory is indeed just theory. It’s all made up I swear to god. Abstract ahh class
SlushSeasonWhy the fuck does AP precalc even exist? APs are supposed to be the top level of the subject offered in high school, but any form of precalc is by definition, below calculus. So they're testing to see if you're really good at preparing for calculus? In that case, why not just get ahead of things and start calculus early?
Tbh they probably just made it to give Juniors a way to pad their transcripts with "5.0s".
Man, i hate APs

trevsi_skotAfter taking AP Econ, the main thing that sticks with me is that CollegeBoard created a class that teaches how it, as a non-natural monopoly, is necessarily negative. Making a bunch of high schoolers pay $100 per test is insanity, especially when it is supposedly a 'nonprofit'.
deadhead420yes fuck AP and fuck the college board but pre-calc is college level math. Many of the easy art type degrees don't require any math higher than pre-calc. So might as well get it done in high school.
Dual credit while in high school with a local community college is where it's at. much more useful credits to transfer to university and no bullshit AP test
GrandThingsI got 5s on Literature (?) and EU History and my college still didn't count my AP Credits lol
idkmyogusernameAP Tests are here, I have to take AP Calc BC, AP US, and AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism. Anyone taken any of these and have any tips. I took AP Gov yesterday, was a layup. Has anyone taken any of these/have any tips?
