There is something wrong with my Look Pivots.

The heel on both of them is cracked after not even a full season. I feel like I take care of my gear and my previous pivots I had did not ever have this problem. I will be using my previous generation from now on.

They are pivot 2.0s so yes.

Known failure mode. Look will warranty I believe.

This is a widespread problem with the 2.0s, hopefully look will fix it overtime but I won’t buy a pair of those until that’s fixed for that reason

Use your hands or poles to take em off. Stepping on them overtime will fuck them up. Poles will definitely do some damage in the divoted spot of the binding, but it won't look like that.

this guy's right, that is how you avoid this. it's just disappointing when pivots have been able to take abuse like that for years and now the new version is worse about it

The 2.0’s have metal cups now so no more damaging the divots from poles.
