Superunknown—Newschoolers Edition

FruityBootsThere should be an underground edit contest strictly for Newschoolers members. Members submit their edits, and 5 are chosen by admins to be voted on by the community. Winner gets a prize.

Stipulations would be necessary, such as no orange name submissions, and the video has to be only you. Not you and your friends, not your buddy who’s semi-pro, just you showcasing your skills.

Yeah, the video section exists obviously, but it would be fun to have something more focused that might bring the community together. Member of the month is a sad afterthought nowadays, and I know there are some good skiers who frequent the forums but don’t upload content. I think we would all be surprised by who might put out what. I know I am every time I’m stalking profiles on here and I come across someones’s sick season edit with only 3 upvotes. Lots of unrecognized talent on here.

I don’t know, what do people think?

He also sucks complete donkey farts at skiing, which is impressive considering he’s been a member for 12 years. Seriously, go watch his videos. He fucking sucks, and he’s not funny, either. I don’t know why the fuck the Newschoolers staff ever hired him. Just another example of how incompetent the people running this site are.

And if this idea never becomes a reality, it’s probably because I pitched it and tools like him don’t want to recognize something that came out of my mind.

This guy cares so much about his karma it’s sad. I mean, I asked for a temp ban about 5 years ago, because that’s something you can do, and this cunt perma-banned me, probably because I was on the leaderboard at the time and he saw his opportunity to side-step me.

.FRY.With a request for a 5 year ban. Served about 69% (really 68% but we'll call it 69. Like 41 months). Left in September of 2020 and returned February of 2024. Would have served the whole sentence but I was never going to get my account back anyways so why bother.

Maybe there's no option for a ban that long, but still. Even emailed the mods and no reply.
