How deep for pow skis

You can daily a 120+ in the park, ski them if they work for you

I daily drove a 122 in Utah and the Midwest for several years.

Id say a foot or more for snow but also i think body type matters a bunch too. If youre a twig, aint no need for a 120. But if your big or wide etc, then that extra platform will be nice… think of it as easing into your natural stance and how far apart your feet are when you stand up….. kinda how I think about it.

become the most epic skier in the world and ski a reverse camber reverse sidecut everyday all the time.
or just bring out a water ski

Same but in new England. Salomon Rocker 2 122's were my daily ski for many years and they fucking slayed unless it was total boiler plate but I still was good to go . Love those fuckin skis .

I daily'd Surface Balance 122's for a season in the midwest. and have some 117's now but no way I'm going daily for pow skis anymore lol.

Carving big ass skis around on pack or slush is really really fun, its like carving on a snowboard where u get that lil weightless moment between turns I cannot deny.

If you want a real answer for like "when can I feel the actual benefits of a wide ski in pow" I'd say ballpark 6-8 inches and above depending on type of snow is where you can tap into the floaty feelings of a big rocker boat
