Replying to The "Gopro on my helmet but is it still shaky?" and "should I now get a gopro" thread

SteezeOnAJawnt:
I havent had a gopro for years and only really had buddies film me. With new gopros coming out that seem to have like that stability control and all that, it seems like the footage is worth taking without being all shaken up or looking awful. The real question is, if i mount it on my helmet which already isnt super snug, is it just gonna be thrown around? Specifically with mips, ill push my helmet around on my head and the mips system stays still but the helmet moves around (like its supposed to). The helmet is safe and protects me but I worry that adding a gopro would have it move around too much, at least more than the stability track can handle? Note: the gopro 10 has the stabilitrack stuff and its like 180 on facebook, thats the main driver on this thread.
