Look pivot 14-15 swap

Look pivot 14 and 15. Both mounted on moment commander and Countach My question is I want to swap them and put the15’s on the newer ski. They seem to have the same mount holes. Both skis are drilled for the same size boot. Can I just take the screws out and switch them ? Do I need screw glue of some kind? TIA

Wood glue in the holes, you'll be fine but double check forward pressure. Careful not to strip the old threads when tightening the screws down

make sure you get the waterproof glue

the screws will go in easier than they came out so dont hoss on em too hard

i'd put in helicoils or threaded inserts in the old holes, much higher chance of holding

You can re use old holes for this as long as they tighten as they should and you don't get a spinner. One tip is to turn the screws backwards first to feel them drop into the old threads before starting to tighten them down.
