Do I scrap the skis or fix them?

Jpod321I was skiing park like normal the other day and completely at it and slammed the inside edge of my ski into the beginning of the rail and about a week later after a ski day I noticed this damage from it am I able to take these into a shop to get them fixed or do I just call it a lost cause and scrap the skis. Thanks! Any advice is welcomed

I think most shops should be able to fix this. had a simmilar thing happen with a bent edge and bubbled side wall, also had delam between edge and sidewall that was like 5 inches long. local shop fixed them both for less then $50. Take them in and ask and if they say no take them somewhere else for a second opinon.

Has anyone had long term success with repairing delams like this? Even with perfect gflex technique I've never had repairs like last longer than 10 days on a park. Maybe longer on a pow/backcountry ski.

If It were my ski I would toss some epoxy in the gap just to seal out the water, probably not clamp it. And then detune the absolute fuck out of that 2 inches of ski. like take of at least 25% of the edge with a file under the delam. then keep ripping it on rails

Also those skis look way too sharp to be hitting rails, you need to detune underfoot my bro. Could be a factor in why those skis delaminated
