Help with finding a new all mountain ski

jumpman101Love my on3p Jeff 100 just a super fun ski all around. I ski a 186 on the east coast and it is tough for trees here bc they are tight together but it gets the job done for me at 6ft 230

Looking at Wildcat 101 - 190, and wanna hear some other opinions and suggestions on what else is out there. I have a pair of ON3P Woodsman 110 - 192, which are awesome but a bit more than I’d like in the trees and would prefer something that’s more playful in a smaller width. Other options I’ve considered are,

ON3P Jeffery 100
Moment Deathwish 104
Moment Countach 104

Primary spots I ski are RMR Lake Louise and Big White.

SweetishFishI don’t know too much abt these skis because of how new they are but you could consider at the new 2026 Salomon QST 100. The longest size they come in is 188 tho

PartyBullshiitWc 101 is going to be the most playful of the moment bunch. Dw 104 is going to be playful but slightly more chargy than the wc and give you more usefulness across more conditions. Dw 104 are great across a huge range of conditions. Ct 104 is going to be the most chargy of the bunch but still playful enough to have fun in the trees and easy to pivot and shut down things fairly quick. If you’re looking for slightly more playfulness I’d get the dw104. If you want slightly more chargy I’d get the ct104. I have the dw104 and love them. One of my favorite skis. I also have the ct110 and it’s a blast. Super stable and charges really well but really easy to pivot. Haven’t had a chance to try the ct104 yet.

jumpman101I like them a lot. I ski mainly east coast conditions and am looking into the ripper build for the super icy days here in the 92. The 100 holds its own but with the signature rocker it will skid around a bit. I have mine mounted at -2 and like them there. I tried them mounted I believe rec was -4.25 and it was super good but going through the park was not ideal especially it being the primary ski I gravitate to grab. So moving it -2 it is more washy but can still rip.

jimbobsJeff 100s are a pretty solid choice for what you're looking at. Enjoy my Jeff 102's for similar stuff; trees, bumps, park, and general ripping around. I'm 6'6 230 on 191's, perfect size for me. They're more playful than a typical allmtn ski but have a lot more backbone than my soft and symmetrical park skis.

Revolt 104 in 188 is a similar ski you should look at, very very rockered and maneuverable, robust enough to charge hard, and they're like 350 bucks on evo right now. Cool narrow tail design, helps it float better than a 104 waist would suggest, so you can push the mount pretty close to center. My buddy loves his.

No_whiningSuper helpful man thank you! For what I'm looking for I might do something like the jeffery 100 - 191 w/ the ripper rocker, seems like a sick setup for what I'm trying to do but I haven't heard too much about the ripper concept overall.

No_whiningThanks man this is really helpful, sounds to me like the dw104 is the most suited for what I'm looking for a ski to do. Only question regarding the dw104 is carving with the triple camber setup they have, I've heard mix opinions on it and sounds like people either love it or hate it.

Probably best to find a spot I can demo the moment lineup and see what fits best but not sure if I'm gonna find that north of the border.

PartyBullshiitThe dw 104 carves great. It’s really fast edge to edge for a 104. The triple camber really makes the ski bite into firm and icy conditions and really lets you drive the ski through the shovels. In softer snow it’s super pivoty and smeary and really shines its playful side. With the 104 having the stiffer build and core in the dw line up it blasts through crud and chopped up snow. Triple camber is forsure unique but I’m in the love it camp. I have both the 104 and 112 versions though I do prefer the 104. Just got back from skiing it I CO and it was a blast in all conditions until you get into deeper than 6” of fresh. Then it will start to bog down a little since it doesn’t have the widest shovel.

No_whiningI’m definitely open to something shorter then 190 but between say dw104 in 184 and 190 I’d definitely go for the 190. Jeff 100 I could sway between 186 and 191 but I’d probably go 191. I’ve found with some skis shorter then 186 they just never feel stable even on a real charger like Nordica enforcer 104s.
