What skis should i get for the ice coast?

steez_apprenticeyou should go way longer. I like skis that are a little over my head or forehead level, but something with a lot of rocker like vishnus i'd even size up since the ski will feel shorter than it actually is. I recommend anything 180cm and up, and if you want REALLY soft i personally love my vishnu wides, 106 underfoot but super super light, and can be used all mountain if you want. Wets are 88(correct me if i'm wrong) but SUPER soft and light.

steez_apprenticeyou'd think that, but honestly (at least for me), you'll adjust after a day or two it really won't hinder your ability at all, it will also promote more stability on bigger landings (good habit to get into should you end up skiing somewhere else). Also longer skis look cooler lol. If it was that much of a difference you'd see every freeskier on 160cm skis.

steez_apprenticenah, everyone that gets 171 wets and is taller than 5'7 regrets it instantly. Emmett, who runs vishnu recommends anyone 5'9 and up to get at least 183.

If youve been to wintergreen, you know that the "double blacks" arent even as steep as some blues out west. the runs are super short too. My biggest problem is the almost completly barren terrain park. Were talking 5 or 6 rails, if Im lucky a 20 foot jump, nothing that will ever get me past a cork 720. Im 16, im young and spry, I love what little park i get to do. I can go swaps, 270 out, switch on, 360s, plenty of grabs, 180 shifties, butters and allat. I currently ride on some 144 cm 2023 honey badgers, I love em to death. they are super flicky and fun, making the green slopes an absolute playground, 360s on side hits, nose butters on rollers, little tricks and spins. However, Im almost 6 ft now, and I want to grab a new pair of skis.

Im looking for something thats decently light, soft, i mean like, SUPER soft, and maybe 160 cm range. I dont really do any jumps where having a ski more suited for jumps would really matter, but i want to butter and spin all over the side hits and everything. While the variety or magnitude of my resorts rails arent great, I still wanna get better at them. Price does matter some, and im not willing to spend more than $600, but Im fine buying slightly used, and/or waiting till midseason for those massive sales.

I was looking at Bdogs, wets, mango 90s, and prodigy 1s. does anyone know if any of those are good options? or any recommendations on other skis?

KolaOnCokepersonally, i ride wets, and they have so much rocker that the skis feel way shorter than they actually are. Im 5'11 and ride 177s and i wish i bumped up to that 183 mark.
