Boot sizing question

I have a pair of Dalbello il moros which I like but something just feels off with them. Length wise they feel good I mean my foot almost touches the end of the boot and I’m pretty sure that’s what you want but when I have all the buckles maxed out my foot still slides around a ton especially my heel and shin so when I go for a butter or just anything in general it just doesn’t really feel like I’m connected as much to the boot if that makes sense. Anyone have any advice?

Unfortunately it sounds like the boot is too big for you (in the volume/last of it, not necessarily length), go to a good boot fitter and see what they recommend and what it feels like.

Are you trying to save this boot or are you looking for new boot recommendations?

a quick fix could be adding a volume reducer in the liner (stacking two footbeds)
and/or a heel wedge. I like patriot footbed’s products. Anything will work

in the medium/long term sounds like you need new boots

Go see a bootfitter and try some on as many as you can. Likely need something lower volume, so Atomic hawx ultra, salomon s/pro alpha, tecnica mach 1 lv ...
Go see a good bootfitter and get yourself sorted they will help.

I’d highly recommend a 2 peice overlap boot with a riveted cuff. The NS nerds love their full tilts and 3 peice boots but I think they are garbage and don’t give enough power transmission.

If you want to join the dark side and have powers previously thought unimaginable, find a cheap race shell and upgrade the liner. Best price to preformance of any boot. Would not recommend if you have wide feet.

First off, a good bootfitter will help the most.
as stated you might need a low volume boot, but you could mcgyver a better heel lock with some foam pads or cork. I used to make them myself when i was a broke student
