Should i get new boots or new liners?

I currently have the k2 sc diverge and have found the walkmode to be quite bothersome. It has a lever-style design which allows the boot to move around 10mm when the walk mode is off. I much prefer as little movement as possible. I ordered an intuition downhill wrap liner to replace the current touring one in hopes of fixing this issue. I have a discount with k2, would it make sense to return that liner and just get a new pair of k2 methods or stick with the current setup with a new liner? The k2 website doesn't say much about what liner comes in the methods.

New boot. Liner will not fix shell movement. If there is a way to make it better @tomPietrowski will know.

Are you getting the movement rearward when the walk mode is down?

If you don’t need a walk mode and want the pro wrap and booster power strap grab the b&e boot. Same fit and features as the diverge just without a walk mode.

The movement is forward, the walk mode allows some movement before the tongue takes over flex, I'm thinking about just switching the tongue and booster strap over and getting the method pro, not sure if there's a major benefit with the b&e

The big difference is the liner. The method pro uses the initial wrap rather than the pro wrap. But if that works for you go for it and save some money!

Ah, in that case id much rather go for the b&e, given the fact that i was already gonna get an upgraded liner. Thanks!
