hear me out. the amount of hate line skis gets is absurd to me. yes, their skis are fragile, yes some of their skis are pricy, yes they sponsor insta skiers. but yall are looking at this the wrong way. its pretty clear that they are marketing toward the younger crowd of skiers, trying to get more interest in the sport. they sponsor insta skiers because realistically, your average insta skier gets a lot more attention then someone who doest use social media as much. especially the the crowd they want to market towards. its just a smart business decision. we can make the choice not to ride them, and it shouldn't effect anyone whether you do or don't. line skis inst really marketing towards us, the vast majority of people that actually ride them are younger and newer to the sport, and so not as hard on them. the people who always talk shit about their toughness usually ride them a lot harder then the average line skis rider. not saying that their durability shouldn't be improved. i, and a lot of buddies are or have ridden lines, and I would say the durability isn't even that bad. as for the price, line skis sells last years color/model on their website for a fraction of the price. line is doing a great job of bringing interest to a dying sport. so for me line skis ain't all that bad, but yall can have your own opinions.
