I want to get a pair of the Rossignol Black Ops 98 Super Edition along with the matching Pivots. I've never skied Rossi before but I really like the color scheme for these and I LOVE THE WAY THE PIVOT BINDINGS LOOK!
Currently I have 3 skiable pairs of skis and am looking at getting these to complete my quiver. My current daily driver is the K2 Reckoner 112 and I have a pair of Prodigy 1s for the park. Both are brand new for the season and I'm very excited to rip on them but my only fear is that the Reckoner 112s will be too thick for the spring. My third pair of skis I have are some Reckoner 102s that I thoroughly destroyed over the last 2 seasons, they'll work in a pinch but are to beat to be my spring ski. Thats what I want to get these Rossi skis for.
YouTube reviews of the product give me confidence they are the ski I'm looking for but I know that Newschoolers is extremely toxic and people love to spout their opinions so I'm hoping someone can answer this and give me a solid reason not to get these SUPER AWESOME new skis. Preferably someone who lives on the West Coast or Alaska who has skied the Black Ops 98 before. Thank you
